The museum’s pop-up exhibition, provides visitors a preview of the permanent Borscht Belt Museum, which will open to the public in 2025 after a top-to-bottom renovation of our future home.

The pop-up, a collaborative effort with the Bard Graduate Center in New York City, features displays of the fashion, comedy, entertainment, and foodways of the Borscht Belt. For visitors with personal history in the region, our oral history booth is available to record their own stories.

The pop-up is curated by Joanna Lehan, former curator at the International Center of Photography along with Masters students from Bard.
